Target Level:

Beginners:

This level aims to teach students the Arabic alphabet and its sounds, writing Arabic words, Arabic reading rules, Arabic writing rules, reading exercises, and writing exercises.

Objectives:

  • Understanding basic Arabic grammar rules.
  • Mastering Arabic spelling rules.
  • Reading Arabic texts quickly and easily.

Course Content:

Unit One:

The Arabic Alphabet:

  • The student learns the names and shapes of the Arabic alphabet.
  • The student learns how to write the isolated and connected forms of Arabic letters.

Letter Sounds:

  • The student learns the sounds of the Arabic letters.
  • The student learns how to pronounce the Arabic letters correctly.

Unit Two:

Harakat (Vowels):

  • The student learns the types of Arabic vowels (fatha, kasra, damma, sukoon, shadda).
  • The student learns how to write vowels above the Arabic letters.

Madd (Prolongation) Signs:

  • The student learns about madd (madd with alif, madd with waw, madd with ya).
  • The student learns the Arabic prolongation signs (natural madd, connected madd, separated madd).

Unit Three:

Tanween (Nunation):

  • The student learns about tanween (tanween al-fath, tanween al-kasr, tanween al-damm).
  • The student learns how to write tanween above the Arabic letters.

Unit Four:

Reading Rules:

  • The student learns to read words with silent letters and letters with shadda.
  • The student learns to read words with solar and lunar L.
  • The student learns some reading rules in the Quran, such as:
  • Rules of Imla (vowel reduction).
  • Rules of Ishba (vowel elongation).
  • Rules of Waqf (stopping).

Reading:

  • The student learns to read simple Arabic texts, observing Tajweed rules.
  • The student learns to read Quranic verses.

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Read Quranic verses.
  • Read simple Arabic texts.
  • Write short sentences and phrases in Arabic.

  • Worksheets and interactive exercises.
  • Videos to reinforce learning.
